How to print double side in windows
For a single two-sided print job:
Access the document for printing, then select File> Print.
From the menu, click Printer Properties.
From the pop-up window, select the Duplex Printing dropdown menu. Depending on the application, printer, and Windows OS you are using, you may have the option to print manually on both sides or print on both sides.
If offered, select one of the following "Print two-sided" options:
Flip the long end - the pages will be printed to open like a book (left to right).
Flip to the short end - pages will be printed to flip like a notepad.
Select OK, then print.
To set up two-sided print by default:
Select Start, then the Settings app.
Select Device, then Printer and Scanner, then Your Printer.
From the pop-up dropdown menu, select Manage or manage your device.
From the left-hand column, select Print Preferences.
From the dialog box, select the Printing Shortcut option.
If your printer prints automatically on both sides, select two-sided duplex printing from the Printing Shortcut dialog box.

Manually click Print on both sides of the dropdown menu, then either flip to Long Edge or Flip to Short Edge.

For duplex printing on an HP Officejet 3830 printer:

How do you stop duplex printing?

To stop duplex printing per Windows work:
Open the file you want to print.
From the File menu, select Print.
In the Print dialog box, select Printers then Preferences or Properties.
From the 2-sided print dropdown menu, make sure 1-sided print is selected.
Ok, then select Ok.
To stop duplex printing and save as default:
1. Open the printer window.
In Windows 10: Select Start, then type "Control Panel" in the search box, then select Device and Printer.
In Windows 8.1: Right-click Start> Control Panel> Devices and Printers.
In Windows 7: Select Start> Device and Printer.
2. Right-click the printer icon, then select Printing Preferences
3. In the Print Preferences window in the 2-sided Print dropdown menu, make sure 1-sided Print is selected.
4. From the bottom-left of the screen, click on Earth Smart Settings
5. Uncheck the 2-sided print box
If the 2-sided print is gray-out, select "Earth Smart Settings" from the bottom-left, uncheck the 2-sided print, then click OK.
6. To save the new setting, select Apply, then OK to close the printer window.
To update the default print driver, save your work to any open application, then restart the application.
To stop duplex-printing on Mac:
1. Open the document for printing.
2. From the File menu, select Print.
3. Select the printer, then select the Xerox properties from the drop-down menu.
In-Text Edit or Safari, click the arrow to expand the window or display the details, then select the Xerox feature.
Or the menu can be next to the name of the print row.
4. From the 2-sided Print drop-down menu, make sure 1-sided Print is checked.
If the 2-sided print option is unavailable, select Earth Smart Settings from bottom-left, uncheck 2-sided print, then OK.
5. Select the preset menu, then save the current settings as presets.
6. Name the preset, such as "no duplex".
7. Next to the presets available for option:
To save preset settings for this row only, click Select this printer only. Deleting rows will remove settings.
To save the preset setting and use it to install another printer (even if the row is moved), select all printers.
8. Select OK to save the setting, then print.
Note: Go ahead, the new preset setting will be used automatically when printing from an application.
Which way do you print double-sided paper?
When you have to feed the paper manually, the first side must face the top of the sheet (the main edge). When printing on the second side, first place the sheet face down with the leading edge in the paper feed.
For printing on letterhead paper, first place the sheet facing downwards in the feed.
Why doesn't my computer allow me to do two-way printing?
In addition to making sure your printer is set to two-sided printing by default, or if you selected it from the menu before confirming a single print job, if it does not print two-sided, there may be some other common problems with this problem:
Insufficient blank paper loaded on the printer. Make sure your paper tray is loaded adequately so that duplex printing can be done without interruption.
Older printer driver software. Make sure you have the most up-to-date software installed for your printer driver. If you do not have them, they are usually available from the manufacturer's official website.
If your printer driver software is up to date, a recent Windows update may be the cause. You can try uninstalling and reinstalling the software to see if it helps.
