10 useful books will change your life
Books can be incredibly powerful. They have the power to
suck us, to adventure, and to influence our perception. They can teach us, move
us away, give us new perspectives, and help us build. And the most powerful ones
change our lives forever. There are entertaining books, there are books that
inform books that speak to the mind, the mind, the intellect, and the emotions.
And then there are the books that seem to speak directly to the soul - the
life-changing books that make you question your core beliefs, stay with you
long after you finish reading. These 10 masterpieces fall into the second
category. Everyone is a pleasure to read, a treasure to think about, and
ultimately changes something deep inside of you - just to experience it.
1. Man’s Search For Meaning by Victor Frankl
I still think about this book almost every day, years after I first read it. What happened to millions of Jews 70 years ago is truly awful. We forget that it was decades ago. Not a century. And the details of his experience at Victor Frankel's concentration camp are almost superhuman. His philosophy and vision of life should be cherished and gone forever. Read this book.
2.
Life of Pi: Ian Martel (2001)
Pi Patel
He is the son of a zoo. He has an encyclopedic knowledge of animals and tastes of
philosophy. When his family emigrated from India to North America, their ship
sank - and Pai found herself on a 450-pound tiger lifeboat with Hyena,
Orangutan, wounded zebra, and Richard Parker - or did he? What happened next is
an excellent tale of intrigue and adventure.
Although
it is not a book about religion, it tells a story about the importance of
believing in something - be it Shabad, Mother Nature, or your own power.
3. Love history: Nicole Crouse ;( 2005)
In this
beautiful book, Alma tells the story of Leo Gursky and the love of his life.
With an adventure across the ocean and across the decades, the novel is lit up
with a thrill of mystery and the joy of connection.
Leo and Alma will stop thinking about nonstop a
few days after you finish this book - and while the story fades from the front
of your mind, it will never really leave you.

4. Significant Potential; Shawn Achor:
In Shawn Archer's bestselling book The Happiness's Advantage,
his research reveals that happiness leads to success, otherwise not in his Big
Potential book, Shawn shows that our communication with others is the way to
Fulfill our potential. By the following progress alone, or by eliminating using or
others - we limit our chances and become more stressed and disconnected.
Studying people from 50 countries, he identified five "seeds" or
strategies for achieving great potential in today's complex world.
5. Your Best Year Ever; Michael Hyatt
Will See this year you finally achieved a long-held goal? Discover
how much energy you need to work on in your life and change its impact.
"To run it safely, we need to go beyond our natural aspirations. It's not
so safe to play safely, "writes author Michael Hyatt, former chairman and
CEO of Tomas Nelson Publishers. This book outlines a five-step plan to achieve
your most cherished goals. One of his tips: Using gratitude as an essential
tool for success.
6. Rich dad, poor dad; Robert Kiyosaki:
Something was eating me alive inside. (No, it
wasn't a parasite)) It was an idea.
Something about work, life, money, wealth, and
freedom - but I can't say enough what this idea is. It had been in my weight
for months, but I couldn't find a word to express it.
Finally, there was the word for the inner
conversation that was going on every minute of my life. Eventually, I can turn
my abstract ideas about money into real speech - and it changes my life
forever.
Rich Dad, Poor Dad, is precisely what it is to say
because it means so many different things to so many different people. However,
the summary of this is that the shoddy work for their money, but the rich make
their money. This is a book of more mentality than anything else, but with
enough stories and examples to keep you in the mood. No wonder this book has
handed out the most popular book recommended by guests of The Bizarpockets Podcast
that I co-host every week.
Kiyosaki taught me to stop saying, "it can't
be done," and in every area of life, "how to do it?" Starts asking. He started me
on a journey that led me to buy my first rental property, after which I got
other investment properties for years that at 27 made me out of "rat racing."
For the first time, I started to see that wealth
is not an accident, but an action.
7. Total money-change-cover; Maya Fisher- French:
A year after reading Rich Dad, poor dad, a friend
of the church, suggested reading Dave Ramsey's book The Total Money Makeover,
and once again, my life started to improve after a rude awakening: my spending
I went out of control!
I was spending a thousand dollars more a month
than what I was doing. How can I not realize it?
Total Money Makeover helped me look at my
personal finances more seriously and gave me the passion for paying off debt, life
more successfully and save more money.
Suddenly, having a budget didn't seem like a
tenure; it felt like I finally reigned in my wallet. I was in control of my
spending. My spending was not in my control.
As an entrepreneur, some months are financially
better than others. However, because of the lessons, I learned from Total Money
Makeover, I am better prepared to handle difficult times because I have a
robust personal money base.
8. The Outsider’s; S.E Hinton:
"I rarely read the book, but in a few years, I've
come back to it. It's about high school, but no matter where you are. It shows
how dark and harsh the world can be, but even if you stop appreciating them.
But good things and good people. Nothing in that dilemma stops me in this book
why I have read it "" - Amy Martin, you mean money.
"A Heroic Story of Friendship and Related.
"No one ever said, life was easy. But Ponyboy
is pretty sure he got things out. He knows he can count on his brothers, Darry
and Sodapop. And he knows he can trust his friends - real friends who are
Johnny. And can do anything for him like To-Beat And And When It Comes To The
Sox - A Naughty Group Of Wealthy Kids Who Kill The Grizzers Like Him And His
Friends Enjoy catching up - He knows he can believe it, but one night, someone
takes things too far, and the world of ponyboy is turned upside down.
"Forty-five years ago, 'The Outsiders' was a
dramatic and enduring work of a fictitious story. The story of a boy who found
himself on the outskirts of the regular society of SE Hinton remains as strong
today as it was the first day."
9. The One Thing; Gary Keller:
The One Thing by Gary Keller and Jay Papasson is an
an easy-to-read but in-depth book that helped me concentrate on keeping the topic
in the mainstream in all areas of my life.
The One Thing asks, "What is one thing you
can do that will make everything else easier or unnecessary?"
By asking this question a few times a day, I find
more time in my day to work poorly, less work with me at night, less email
fielding, and more revenue per month. It's like magic.
10. Make Your Bed; Admiral William H.
McRaven:
Admiral William H., in a commencement speech at the

the talk went viral with over 5 million views. His ultimate message: to face
hardships and challenges with determination and empathy. When you are in a
hurry and need to recharge, turn to this book.
