Antivirus software may be the reason why you cannot install the program successfully, such as drivers, video programs, s, and some other important applications. They do not recognize the software. So when you can't install the software, you can try disabling the antivirus software temporarily. If you use Avast Antivirus, you can follow these steps to temporarily disable it.
How to Disable Avast Antivirus in 2021



  1. Click the small triangle in your Windows taskbar to open the notification area. Right-click on the Avast Antivirus icon for a list of security suite options.
  2. Click Control Avast Shields. You can choose this option depending on how long you want to disable Avast Antivirus.
  3. After selecting the option, you will be prompted to confirm the operation. Click Yes to confirm.

1. Disable Avast from the system tray

Right-click on the Avast icon in the system tray. It is on the lower-right by default. It resembles an orange splint with an "A" in the middle. Right-click this icon to display a pop-up menu. If you do not see the Avast icon in the system tray, click the icon that shows a bracket in the bottom right corner to display more system tray icons. Check out the "Avast Shields Control" This is the second option in the pop-up menu that appears when you right-click on the Avast Antivirus icon in the system tray. Choose permanently disabled. OK, click to stop. This is the green button in the pop-up alert. This disables Avast Antivirus. To enable Avast Antivirus again, right-click on the Avast icon in the system tray. Then hover over "Avast Shields Control" and click Enable All Solders


2. Disable Avast from settings

Open Avast. It has an icon resembling an orange slot with a lower-case "A" in the middle. You can either double-click the Avast icon on your desktop or double-click the Avast icon in the Start menu or in the system tray. Click the menu. This is an icon with three horizontal lines at the top-right of the Avast main window. It displays menus. Click Settings. It is next to an Iyer which is similar to a gear. It displays the settings menu. Click Security. This is the second option on the left panel. 

It has an icon that matches the lock. It displays the Security menu. Click Core Shields. This is the second option on the left panel. It displays the settings menu for viruses that block viruses and malware in real-time. Click on the toggle switch next to "Core Shields". This is at the top of the page. This disables all fields that provide Avast virus protection. Alternatively, you can disable individual solder. 

To do this, scroll down and click on the File Shield, Behavior Shield, Web Shield, or Mail Shield tab. Then uncheck the checkbox at the top of the menu at the bottom of the tab to disable the ield. Choose permanently disabled. OK, click to stop. This is the green button in the pop-up alert. This disables Avast Antivirus. To re-enable Avast, follow these steps to return to "Core Shields" in the Avast app. Then click on the toggle switch above to re-enable Avast Antivirus.
